Padron Serie 1926 No. 35 Natural (4 x 48)

This is one strong cigar. I almost couldn’t finish it, despite it’s small size, on account of its overpowering flavor. More sophisticated than the 1964 line; I’m quite not sure its better yet, though. Peppery and musky in taste, with hints of mint and floral notes. Amazing depth. Perfect burn. An amazing smoke. Glad I didn’t order the larger size, as I’m not sure I could handle it. Right now, I’d give it an 8.5. But I reserve the right to come back and rate it higher (or lower, I suppose) after I’ve had one or two more (bought a box with my bonus).

After smoking two more of these, I would rate them at least a 9.0, maybe even a 9.5. They are simply amazing. Better than the 1964s in that they have so much depth. If you haven’t tried them, please treat yourself and let us know if you agree. Viva Padron!
After seeing these in a store, I realized that Famous-Smokes.com actually shipped me the maduros instead of the naturals. I still think they are amazing smokes, but shame on Famous-smoke.com. If you spend $250.00 on a box of cigars, you should get what you order. I will definitely make my purchases elsewhere in the future. I look forward to trying the natural 1926s sometime, but right now I still prefer the 1964 Natural Exclusivos. Something about those that make life worth living–maybe it’s the fond memories of Hudgar 2006 1.0?
A FREAKING MEN! Famous smokes is no good for orders. they mess them up daily for me. but I think they did you a favor w/ the MADUROS. Maduros are the real deal.
