The Leafy Times Brothers wish you and yours the happiest Thanksgiving. Enjoy the time off, watch some football (3 NFL games this year!), eat some turkey, smoke a special cigar, and give thanks for the great things in life.
We’ll be posting some reviews and articles over the weekend once we recover…

German based SMINTAIR looks to bring back the joy of flying by offering a Boeing 747 with only 30 first class and 108 business class seats (Most airlines cram nearly 500 people into a 747!). The upper deck will be the passenger’s lounge. Every seat is a smoking seat. Even the crew can smoke.
Don’t go buying that ticket just yet…they’re still missing one crucial piece before the can takeoff - Planes. Once the planes are purchased, they’ll be fitted with a state-of-art filtration system that will allow fresh air to constantly be brought into the cabin. Ironically, probably making it the cleanest air in-flight.
Once the airline takes off, Smintair’s founder hopes to open a chain of hotels, restaurants, pubs and holiday resorts.

Moe Szyslak: “So what do you want here, uh, appendectomy, lipo, or … the sampler. That’s very popular.”
Moe spoke and Famous Smoke listened. They’ve added a new feature allowing you to pick and choose from thousands of cigars to create your own customer sampler. Ever better, for every five cigars you add to your sampler, one is free! So it’s more like buy 4, get 1 free. Spend $99+ and get free ground shipping too.
This is by far the best way to try some new sticks and not break the bank. Bravo Famous Smoke!

Pitting their Italian vs Brazilian lines against each other, C.A.O. produced some of the craziest cigar designs of all time. There’s even two whopping 97 gauge trumpets in the lot. The “barber pole” Italia / Brazilla hybrid perfecto is awesome looking. 5 cigars, it sells for $100. These are really cool to see, but I have enough burn issues with simple figudaros to be fooled into buying a box.
Also of note from CAO, the Vision launches next week.

This week started off pretty strong with the Cigar International deal of Cinco Vegas. While I’m not a huge fan of these cigars, Moneybag$ swears by them. See his recent review here. JR offered their Montecruz Negras again. I’ve had these and they’re OK for a bargain, everyday smoke. I just have so many of those types of bargain gars in my humidor that the thought of any more just doesn’t sit well with me. Cigar.com finished the week with a fair deal of H Upmann Tubos. Perhaps good for the coming holidays/travel. A bit too pricey for me as I’m not an H. Upmann fan. Overall, a pretty mediocre deal week. I would love to see some CAO, A.Fuente, Montecristo, etc. deals…it rarely happens given that they sell well without the discounts. Maybe it free ashtray time again…
